PRINT DRIVES ONLINE SALES

Print is a major driver of online sales. Print is a powerful media… and its power is multiplied when used as part of a multi-channel campaign. Print enhances the impact of television, telemarketing, and the internet by providing an extra dimension that’s warm, inviting, highly personalizable, and technologically savvy.

GIVE WORKERS A SENSE OF AUTONOMY

You may not be able to give your employees complete autonomy over how they do their jobs, but you can allow some freedom without losing control of requirements. Try these tactics:

  • Explain the big picture. Employees will follow directions better when they understand why certain outcomes are important to the organization.
  • Discuss how to reach goals. Once a goal is clear, talk about how the employee can achieve it. Give as much freedom as possible as long as metrics are clear.
  • Don’t sweat minor details. Let employees decide how to handle the little stuff. Otherwise you’ll come across as a micro-manager, crushing motivation and productivity.
