MOTIVATE YOUR EMPLOYEES WITH 'VIP' FORMULA

Many experts say you can’t motivate employees; the best you can do is create an environment that allows them to motivate themselves. How do you do that? By giving them the VIP treatment:

  • Validation. Let employees know you appreciate their work. Encourage them to learn new skills and develop their strengths.

  • Information. Don’t keep employees in the dark. Tell them what’s going on in your organization and how they can help.

  • Participation. Seek their input and ideas. Let employees be involved in decisions that affect them and their work.
