Your Voice In Government
Business taxes! Employee mandates! Insurance benefits! Workers’ compensation rates! Environmental regulations! These are all issues that consume your time and affect your bottom line. That’s why the Government Relations Department is a vital PIASC service. We represent your interests before legislative and regulatory bodies in all areas that affect the bottom line of your business.
You Are Represented On National,
State, And Local Levels
Everyday governmental decisions impact your business operations. PIASC seeks to advance the stature and effectiveness of the graphic arts industry in political matters at both the national and local levels.
Through the government relations offices of Printing Industries of America (PIA) in Washington, D.C. and Printing Industries of California (PIC) in California, we provide you with a voice and advocacy on those legislative and regulatory issues that affect the graphic arts industry.
The Industry’s Watchdog
PIC is the industry’s watchdog. "Strength in numbers" is its watchword. By serving as a bridge between the association’s members and governmental officials, and utilizing effective grassroots campaigns, PIC has surfaced as the recognized graphic arts industry voice before California governmental bodies.
You Are Represented At Regulatory Agencies
PIC represents the graphic arts industry before important governmental agencies such as:
- State Board of Equalization
- South Coast Air Quality Management District
- California Occupational Safety and Health Agency
- Integrated Waste Management Board
- Department of Insurance
The Industry’s Political Action Committee
Through its political action committee, PrintPAC of California, PIC gains industry recognition and access to key decision makers in the political process.
