PIASC’s focus is on our members—and helping them in any way we can has been the cornerstone of our existence. It goes without saying that at this time we are experiencing a skilled labor shortage. Fewer people coming into
the industry and an increasing number retiring or leaving for adjacent industries.
PIASC is addressing this concern with a multi-stepped approach. The first step is a complete redesign of the member job bank. In fact, we have gone a bit further and added additional services into it. It is now called the
PIASC Recruitment Platform. And as such, we are able to build a one stop location to streamline the hiring process. From recruiting people to screening them to hiring them.

One of our most exciting new features is a lightweight Applicant Tracking System (ATS), which we are able to offer at no cost. With our sites’ technology you are able to use your PIASC Recruitment Platform’s Company page
that lists information about your company, as well as any jobs you are currently listing directly on to your own website.
If you have an ATS already, our site allows you to embed the unique job URL for your open need directly onto the job you post on our site. When a candidate applies it takes them directly to your website application process.

Track the applicants to apply to your postings
Add notes about them and store that date with their job seeker profile
Holistic approach: PIASC knows that this talent shortage will not be solved easily. To solve the problem we will need our members help. By building the ATS onto your site you are helping build a network of jobs that
will help gain SEO strength. It will make the industry stand out more on the internet and increase notice of the opportunities. Each of these ATS sites that our members create add another strand to our web of jobs. Instead of one central
source for the jobs there will be hundreds.
In development: We are looking to add additional services that assist with the attraction and eventual hiring of new employees. Ideas such as references checking (for a small fee), Apprenticeship programs from their
structure to patrolling the candidates while in the program and much more. By having a platform and not simply a job board, we are able to evolve how we service you—our valuable members—and create winning solutions that rise to
the challenges the industry faces.
