RAISE Foundation

Committed to Raising the Standards
in Graphic Arts Education

PIASC/RAISE Foundation is the educational foundation of the Printing Industries Association Inc. of Southern California. It is a private foundation, established in 1974 by PIASC to foster graphic arts training in secondary and post secondary schools. PIASC Insurance Services Inc. administers RAISE as a nonprofit California corporation and a Board of Directors governs it.

RAISE is sustained by contributions from printing industry members. These contributions are tax deductible from state and federal income taxes under 501(c) (3) as a nonprofit, charitable and educational foundation.

RAISE Foundation underwrites numerous annual educational events to benefit graphic arts education. Programs such as the Student of the Year Award Competition for secondary and post secondary students, Surplus Drive, Student Assembly, Technical and Academic Competition, T-shirt Competitions, and over 100 presentations of the Museum on Wheels.
